Punjab Dear Lottery: The Complete Guide to Dear 50, 100, 200, 20, 1000 and Bumpers

One State, Six Lotteries

Punjab runs its lotteries under the Dear brand, and the family is bigger than most players realise. There is a draw every single evening, three different monthly draws, a quarterly draw with a four-digit ticket, and seasonal bumpers whose first prizes run into crores. All of them are published on our Punjab results hub as soon as they are declared, with the full prize-wise list for every draw. This guide explains each scheme: what it costs, when it is drawn, what it pays, and how to check a ticket without missing a smaller prize.

The Dear lotteries are conducted by the Punjab State Lotteries Department. Tickets are paper tickets sold through authorised agents in Punjab, and every ticket carries a series letter and a number. Keep the physical ticket safe: it is the only document that can claim a prize, and a lost or badly damaged ticket cannot be paid.

The Dear Family at a Glance

The Dear family
Dear 50 · daily, 6:30 PM · ticket ₹50₹21 Lakh
Dear 100 · second Tuesday · ticket ₹100₹25 Lakh
Dear 200 · first Saturday · ticket ₹200₹1.5 Crore
Dear 20 · fourth Tuesday · ticket ₹20₹11 Lakh
Dear 1000 · quarterly, 2nd Sat Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct · ticket ₹1,000₹50 Lakh

Dear 50 — drawn daily at 6:30 PM, ticket ₹50, first prize ₹21 Lakh
Dear 100 — drawn on the second Tuesday of every month, ticket ₹100, first prize ₹25 Lakh
Dear 200 — drawn on the first Saturday of every month, ticket ₹200, first prize ₹1.5 Crore
Dear 20 — drawn on the fourth Tuesday of every month, ticket ₹20, first prize ₹11 Lakh
Dear 1000 — drawn quarterly, on the second Saturday of January, April, July and October, ticket ₹1,000, first prize ₹50 Lakh
Seasonal bumpers — Rakhi, Diwali and other festival draws, with first prizes up to ₹11 Crore

The daily draw is the one most players follow, but the monthly and quarterly schemes are where the biggest prizes sit. A ₹20 monthly ticket can win ₹11 Lakh, and the ₹200 monthly ticket carries the largest regular first prize in the family after the bumpers.

Dear 50: The Daily Evening Draw

Dear 50 is drawn every evening at 6:30 PM in Ludhiana. It is the workhorse of the Punjab family: one draw a day, seven days a week, with a different weekly name each day. The weekday series runs Ranger on Sunday, Beast on Monday, Bronco on Tuesday, Buster on Wednesday, Chief on Thursday, Colt on Friday and Jackal on Saturday, so the draw name itself tells you which day a ticket belongs to. A ticket costs ₹50 and carries a series letter plus a five-digit number, for example A 77057, which won the Jackal Saturday draw on 24 October 2026.

The prize structure is the same for every Dear 50 draw: a first prize of ₹21 Lakh, a consolation prize of ₹10,000, then a second prize of ₹9,000, third ₹3,000, fourth ₹2,000, fifth ₹1,000, sixth ₹500 and seventh ₹100. The important detail for ticket holders is that the second to seventh prizes are decided on the last four digits of the ticket number. That means a ticket whose full number misses the jackpot can still win a smaller prize if its last four digits match, and with hundreds of smaller prizes in every draw, checking only the first prize is the most common way players miss a win. Open the full result for the date and check every tier, or enter the number in the ticket checker, which tests all tiers at once.

Results are usually published on the same evening as the draw. One exception to remember: draws can be skipped on national holidays. There was no Dear 50 draw on 2 October 2026, Gandhi Jayanti, so if a date shows no result, check whether it was a holiday before assuming the result is missing.

Dear 100: The Second-Tuesday Monthly

Dear 100 is drawn on the second Tuesday of every month. The ticket costs ₹100 and the first prize is ₹25 Lakh, with a second prize of ₹5 Lakh — the largest second prize among the monthly schemes. The full prize table runs to eight tiers: first ₹25 Lakh, second ₹5 Lakh, third ₹9,000, fourth ₹7,000, fifth ₹5,000, sixth ₹3,000, seventh ₹1,000 and eighth ₹200. The most recent draw in our records, on 13 October 2026, was won by ticket C 47932. Because it is monthly, Dear 100 tickets stay on sale for weeks, and players often buy the same series across months; remember that each month is a separate draw, so a ticket is only valid for its own draw date.

Dear 200: The Biggest Monthly Prize

Dear 200 is drawn on the first Saturday of every month and carries the largest regular first prize in the Punjab family: ₹1.5 Crore on a ₹200 ticket. Its tickets use six-digit numbers rather than five, which is the easiest way to tell a Dear 200 ticket apart from the rest of the family. The prize table runs to nine tiers: first ₹1.5 Crore, second ₹10 Lakh, third ₹5 Lakh, fourth ₹9,000, fifth ₹8,000, sixth ₹6,000, seventh ₹4,000, eighth ₹2,000 and ninth ₹300. The draw on 3 October 2026 was won by B 831461. With a six-digit field, the lower tiers still work on the last digits, so the same advice applies: check the full list, not just the jackpot.

Dear 20: The Smallest Ticket

Dear 20 is the cheapest way into the Punjab monthly draws: a ₹20 ticket drawn on the fourth Tuesday of every month, with a first prize of ₹11 Lakh. The prize table has seven tiers: first ₹11 Lakh, second ₹9,000, third ₹7,000, fourth ₹5,000, fifth ₹3,000, sixth ₹1,000 and seventh ₹50. The draw on 22 September 2026 was won by E 65252. It is a good example of how Punjab prices its schemes for different budgets: the same department runs a ₹20 monthly and a ₹1,000 quarterly, and the prize scales with the ticket.

Dear 1000: The Quarterly Draw

Dear 1000 is drawn four times a year, on the second Saturday of January, April, July and October. The ticket costs ₹1,000 and uses a four-digit number with a series letter, which makes the ticket easy to read at a glance. The first prize is ₹50 Lakh, and unusually for the family it also carries a large consolation prize of ₹5 Lakh, followed by a second prize of ₹10 Lakh, third ₹9,000, fourth ₹7,000, fifth ₹6,000, sixth ₹5,000, seventh ₹3,000 and eighth ₹1,000. The draw on 10 October 2026 was won by A 8647. Because it is quarterly, Dear 1000 tickets are on sale for months before the draw, and the result is one of the most checked Punjab pages when it lands.

Seasonal Bumpers

Alongside the regular schemes, Punjab runs seasonal bumper draws around festivals, with much larger first prizes. The Rakhi Bumper 2026, drawn on 29 August 2026, carried a first prize of ₹7 Crore, won by A 612479. The Diwali bumper has gone up to ₹11 Crore. Our Punjab Dear Diwali Bumper 2026 guide covers the current draw — 16 November, ₹12 Crore first prize, 9 prize tiers. Bumper tickets are sold for a limited window before the festival draw, and like every other Punjab draw their full results are published on the Punjab hub. If you buy a bumper ticket, note the draw date on it carefully: bumper tickets are only valid for their own festival draw, not for the daily or monthly schemes.

How to Check Your Punjab Ticket

Start with the scheme and the date. A Dear 50 ticket is only valid for its own evening, and a monthly ticket only for its own month, so the first check is always: does the draw date on the result match the date your ticket was sold for? Then match the number. The first prize needs the full series and number to match exactly. The consolation prize, where the scheme offers one, goes to the same number in another series. The smaller prizes in Dear 50 are decided on the last four digits, so compare those too. The simplest reliable method is the ticket checker: type the full number with its series, and it tests every tier of the relevant draws at once. You can also browse any past draw from the scheme pages — Dear 50, Dear 100, Dear 200, Dear 20, Dear 1000 and the bumper page each keep their own dated results.

For anything that decides money, the official gazette is the final word. Our pages republish the winning numbers from the official announcements as fast as they are declared, and each draw page links to the official gazette PDF where one is published. If a number on any unofficial copy — a forwarded image, a shop notice, a message — disagrees with the gazette, trust the gazette.

Claims, Safety and Responsible Play

Keep the physical ticket safe and undamaged, and check it promptly: prize claims are time-limited under the department's rules, and the exact window and claim centre depend on the prize amount, so confirm them from the official announcement for your draw rather than from rumour. Small prizes are typically paid through authorised sellers, while large prizes go through the department with identity verification and tax deduction as applicable. Never buy a ticket from an unauthorised seller, and never pay anyone a fee to "release" a prize — genuine prizes are never charged for.

Finally, play within a budget you can afford. The draws are random: no series, weekday or number pattern is luckier than another, and past results never predict the next draw. Buy the ticket for the entertainment, check every tier, and treat any win as a bonus. Play responsibly, and only if you are 18 or older.

Dear 50 Week by Week: Reading the Series

Dear 50 weekday names
Sun · RangerMon · BeastTue · BroncoWed · BusterThu · ChiefFri · ColtSat · Jackal

The weekday series is the fastest way to read a Dear 50 ticket. The series letter and the draw name change together every day, so a ticket marked Jackal can only belong to a Saturday draw, and a ticket marked Ranger can only belong to a Sunday. A full recent week from our records shows the pattern clearly: Ranger Sunday on 18 October 2026 was won by C 93328, Beast Monday on 19 October by A 81195, Bronco Tuesday on 20 October by A 44905, Buster Wednesday on 21 October by D 92609, Chief Thursday on 22 October by B 77534, Colt Friday on 23 October by B 27201, and Jackal Saturday on 24 October by A 77057. Notice that the winning series letter changes almost every day — there is no "lucky" series, and buying the same letter all week does not improve the odds. What the series does do is protect you from the most common checking error: comparing your ticket against the wrong day's result. If your ticket says Colt, only the Friday result matters.

Common Mistakes When Checking a Punjab Ticket

The first mistake is checking the wrong date. A Dear 50 ticket is valid for one evening only, and the result changes completely overnight, so always confirm the date on the result page matches your ticket. The second mistake is checking only the first prize. In Dear 50 the second to seventh prizes are decided on the last four digits, which means most winning tickets in any draw are small winners, not jackpot winners — skipping the lower tiers throws away real wins. The third mistake is mixing up schemes: a Dear 100 ticket cannot win in a Dear 50 draw, and a bumper ticket cannot win in a monthly draw, even if the number matches. The fourth mistake is trusting a forwarded image over the gazette. Screenshots get cropped, re-typed and sometimes faked; if a win matters, confirm it against the official gazette PDF and the full result page. And the fifth mistake is the simplest: a ticket kept folded in a pocket, washed, or torn may not be payable even when it wins, so store it flat and safe until the result is checked.

This guide is an unofficial reference. Always verify a winning ticket against the official gazette published by the Punjab State Lotteries Department before claiming any prize.
