We Analysed 190 Nagaland Jackpots: Do Winning Numbers Repeat?

The Question Everyone Asks

Do some numbers simply win more often? We went through every Nagaland first-prize number in our records — 211 draws covering 18 August to 21 October 2026, three draws a day — and counted everything: first digits, last digits, two-digit endings, repeats and slot-by-slot splits. Here is what the data actually says.

Digit 3 leads with 27, digit 2 trails with 10 — but a perfectly fair draw would give each digit about 19 wins. A spread of 10 to 27 is exactly the unevenness pure randomness produces.

Digit 3 is the most common jackpot ending and digit 2 the rarest — but look at the scale. With 190 draws, a perfectly fair draw would give each digit about 19 wins. A spread of 10 to 27 looks dramatic, yet it is exactly the kind of unevenness pure randomness produces in a sample this size. Flip a coin 190 times and you will rarely land on exactly 95–95 either.

The Most Common Two-Digit Ending

The ending 97 closed the jackpot number 7 times — the most of any ending — followed by 78 and 73 with 5 each. Tempting as it is to call 97 "hot", remember there are 100 possible endings sharing 190 draws, so a few endings reaching 5–7 by chance alone is expected, not suspicious. You can test any ending yourself in our Number History tool.

Has a Jackpot Number Ever Repeated?

Almost never. Across all 190 draws, exactly one five-digit number has won the 1st prize twice: 49644. Every other jackpot number in our records is unique. That is what genuine randomness looks like — repeats are possible, just rare, and a number that won yesterday has precisely the same chance of winning again today as any other.

The First Digit and the Slot Split

Jackpot numbers starting with 0 (26 times) and 1 (25 times) lead slightly — a number like 06366 is just as likely as 96366. And the three daily slots are almost perfectly balanced: 64 jackpots at 1 PM, 63 at 6 PM and 63 at 8 PM. No slot is luckier than another.

So Should You Play Digit 3?

So should you play digit 3? No.
Not because of this table. These counts describe the past, and every draw is an independent event — the machine does not remember that 3 is “due” or that 2 is “cold”. The honest use of this data is the opposite of prediction: it proves the draw behaves randomly.

No — at least not because of this table. These counts describe the past, and every draw is an independent event: the machine does not remember that 3 is "due" or that 2 is "cold". The honest use of this data is the opposite of prediction — it proves the draw behaves randomly. Pick numbers you enjoy, spend only what you can afford to lose, and check every prize tier carefully.
